Grand Oak Golf Club first opened for play in 1988. The course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan.
The Grand Oak Golf Course is a hilly parkland style layout. The course requires accuracy with a number of blind shots and no room to miss around the greens.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,363 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,842 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 555 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 142 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 506 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Grand Oak Golf Club is # 15, a 276 yard par-4.

We come from Indianapolis to play Grand Oak every year. Our group ranges from 5 to a 20 handicap. Always in great shape, beautiful course of trees and lakes, wildlife. Wish it was closer to Indy, we would play it all the time!!!
